spendCompass uses Apple’s SwiftData framework to store your information on your device. None of your data leaves your device unless you explicitly back up your device using Apple’s iCloud Backup or Finder/iTunes backup and later restore from that backup.
5. App Deletion and Data Retention
All app data is stored locally on your device. If you delete spendCompass or erase your device, the data associated with spendCompass is permanently removed from that device. If you later restore your device from an Apple backup that included spendCompass data, your data may be restored as part of that backup process.
6. No Third‑Party Services
The app does not use:
- Analytics services
- Advertising services
- Cloud servers
- Third-party SDKs
- Tracking technologies
- Social logins
- External databases
7. No Tracking
spendCompass does not track you in any way. The app complies with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework by not collecting any data that could be used to track you across apps or websites.
8. App Permissions
spendCompass does not request device permissions (such as camera, contacts, location, microphone, or photos). If this changes in the future to support new features, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Because your data remains on your device:
- You maintain full control over your information.
- Your data is protected by Apple’s device-level security features (such as device passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, and data encryption).
- No external servers store or process your data.

If the privacy model of the app changes in the future (for example, if cloud sync, analytics, or optional online features are introduced), this Privacy Policy will be updated. The latest version will always be available at this page, with the “Last updated” date reflecting the most recent changes.
